Nothing But Nets is a grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa. Please spread the word about Nothing But Nets, and how easy it is to protect children from malaria with bed nets.

Atrus G. Fleming Music Scholarship Fund
The Attrus C. Fleming Music Scholarship Fund recognizes, nurtures and supports graduating high school senior students who plan to study music or have been accepted in a music program as a major or minor at a recognized or accredited institution of higher learning.
The Beinecke Scholarship
Supports graduate education in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Encourages the creation, performance and study of music through awards, scholarships, internships, grants, and commissions.
California Alliance for Arts Education
The California' Alliance for Arts Education's Emerging Young Artist Awards (EYAA) enable talented young Californians to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists through financial support. The EYAA opens doors by providing up to $5,000 per year for four years ($20,000) to outstanding young artists while enrolled in a college/university degree program or professional training program in their artistic discipline. One top award is granted in each of the four disciplines of Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts.
Canada Council for the Arts
The Endowments and Prizes Section of the Canada Council for the Arts administers over 70 annual prizes, fellowships and awards to Canadian artists and scholars for their contributions to the arts, humanities and sciences in Canada.
Congressional Black Caucus Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Scholarship
The performing arts include drama, music, dance, opera, marching bands and other musical ensembles. CBCF will award up to $3,000 each for up to 10 students.
The Countess of Munster Musical Trust
The Trust offers grants for British postgraduate students undertaking study at home or abroad as well as Instrument Purchase Loans set aside to assist young professional musicians with the purchase of new instruments.
Davidson Institute for Talent Development
The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work.
The Doublestop Foundation
Mission is to provide talented, aspiring young musicians with a competitive edge in the classical music world with no-cost loans of high-quality instruments, and a network of resources and mentors to guide and nurture them through their musical growth and in their professional careers.
Florida Arts Council of Cultural Affairs
The Individual Artist Fellowship Program of the Florida Arts Council of Cultural Affairs recognizes the creation of new artworks by individuals of exceptional talent and demonstrated ability. Fellowship awards support the general artistic and career advancement of the individual artist.
From the Top- Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
Has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to exceptional young musicians with financial need. In addition to providing these young artists with an opportunity to perform on From the Top's national broadcasts, recipients are awarded up to $10,000 to help offset the often prohibitively expensive costs of studying classical music at a high level. Each year, From the Top chooses approximately 20 exceptional pre-collegiate musicians ages 8-18 to receive the Award.
Fulbright Senior Specialists Program
Offers higher educational institutions in the UK the opportunity to invite US academics or professionals, in specified fields, to lecture, participate in seminars, and/or collaborate on curriculum and faculty development, for a minimum of two and a maximum of six weeks.
Glenn Miller Foundation
Glenn Miller Birthplace Society is offering scholarships of $4,000, $2,000 & $1,000 to instrumentalists. The vocal scholarships will also be $4,000, $2,000 & $1,000. These scholarships, which are awarded without regard to any other award, may be used for any education-related expense. It is not the purpose of this competition to select Glenn Miller look-alikes or sound-alikes, nor is it limited to pop music performance. Rather, in honoring Glenn, we wish to seek out and assist promising young talents in any field of applied music who may be musical leaders of tomorrow.
John Lennon Scholarships
The John Lennon Scholarships are an annual competition open to student songwriters and composers of contemporary musical genres including alternative, pop, rock, indie, electronica, R&B, and experimental. Over the past twenty years, more than $400,000 in scholarships has been awarded to talented young musicians from colleges and universities throughout the United States, making this award one of the nation's most esteemed accolades for emerging songwriters.
Lessons in Your Home Scholarship
A $500 scholarship is being awarded for the Fall of 2020. This scholarship can only be used for educational expenses including tuition, books, rooming, and other appropriate expenses.
Mannes College Scholarships
Mannes and the New School Office of Financial Aid strive to ensure that all qualified students benefit from a broad array of financial aid programs including scholarships, grants, and loans. Approximately 75 percent of Mannes students receive merit-based Mannes College scholarships, which are determined at the time of the audition. The awards usually range from 25 percent to 50 percent of tuition.
Michael Jackson Scholarship from United Negro College Fund
Michael Jackson left behind a legacy of generosity. He established this scholarship for deserving students majoring in: performing arts, music, theater arts/drama, vocal performance
National Federation of Music Clubs
Offers more than $750,000 in competition and award prizes on the local, state and national level. The Biennial Young Artist and Ellis Duo-Pianists competitions award a total of $77,300 in awards and two years of performance bookings. Additional competitions are sponsored by the Federation in a wide range of categories, including voice, instrumental music, composition, dance, conducting, handicapped and visually impaired, and music therapy. NFMC also sponsors more than 40 annual and biennial awards for students desiring to attend Summer Music Centers
National Young Arts Foundation
To date, YoungArts has honored more than 17,000 young artists with over $6 million in monetary awards; facilitated in excess of $150 million in college scholarship opportunities; and enabled its participants to work with master teachers who are among the most distinguished artists in the world.

String Letter Publishing - Edith Eisler Scholarship Award
Strings Magazine grants one $3,000 scholarship to a string student each year based on financial need, academic merit, and community service. To be eligible for a Strings Magazine Award, you must play the violin, viola, cello, or bass. Student must demonstrate financial need, academic merit, and a record of community service. Applicants may be enrolledand majoring in music performance or music education at any degree-granting college or conservatory.

Sigma Alpha Iota
Several scholarships and other opportunities are available to members of Sigma Alpha Iota through SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Some of these are offered every year and others are available triennially during Convention years.
Tuesday Musical Club - Pittsburgh
A non-profit, small arts organization that provides free daytime public concerts of classical and contemporary music, scholarships for music students, and performance opportunities for members. The club serves the community of musicians and music lovers of Southwest Pennsylvania.
Virtu Foundation - Providing Instrument Scholarships
Virtu Foundation was formed in 1998 to act as a conduit between patrons, donors and deserving musicians. The Foundation accepts financial contributions, donations of and loans of stringed instruments and places the instruments with musicians whose careers or education in music would benefit from gaining access to an instrument that they cannot afford. The Foundation loans instruments to young musicians on Scholarships. Virtu's goal is to provide, bridge-like, instruments of a quality that allow the musician to move to the next level of skill. When Scholarship loans have served their purpose and expire, instruments are again placed with a new musician.
WBDI College Scholarships
Given annually to women enrolled in a university music curriculum pursuing a degree in music education with the intention of becoming a band director.
Young Musicians Foundation
Awards scholarships ranging from $250 to $3,000 are granted to musicians demonstrating exceptional talent and financial need. All applicants must demonstrate exceptional talent and financial need and must be residents of Southern California.
